I was born in the beautiful region of Kyushu and grew up in the vibrant city of Kobe, where I was exposed to a rich culinary culture from a young age. At the age of 15, I took my first steps on an exciting journey in the world of cooking. Throughout the years, I worked at various restaurants, where I discovered my passion not only for preparing delicious food but also for creating enjoyable and welcoming spaces for customers to share memorable experiences. After completing culinary school, I took on a position at a Italian restaurant in Tokyo, where I managed a wide range of dishes, from flavorful appetizers to exquisite desserts. After making the move to the U.S., I eagerly explored a variety of cooking styles and eventually produced a Japanese restaurant in Pasadena, showcasing my love for Japanese cuisine. Later on, I gained valuable catering experience in New York before finally launching Sushi Wabi-sabi, proudly establishing my own unique culinary venture.
